Tell us a little about yourself and what is your role at Acertara?
I manage our ISO/IEC 17025-2017 accredited ultrasound test lab and serve as a consultant for various companies who need ultrasound expertise.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
International committee meetings all seem to pick 6 AM Mountain Time to meet on Zoom. I don’t think I appreciated this when I signed up for these committees!
What do you find most challenging at Acertara?
I think we’re a small company with big aspirations. As such, it seems that I—like many—have to wear multiple hats. Switching between tasks frequently is challenging but also rewarding.
What is the one thing you couldn’t live without?
Dutch cargo bike: the ‘Bakfiets’.
Where would you like to travel to?
Patagonia
If you could drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Probably Weldwerks Juicy Bits.
