Employee Spotlight: Eddy Valdespino
Tell us a little about yourself and what is your role at Acertara?
My name is Eddy and my family encompasses my wonderful wife, our four beautiful children, and five grandchildren. I enjoy laughing and spending time with my family, especially like Palm Springs or anywhere there is water (i.e., Rivers, lakes, etc.). I have been in warehousing for the past few decades and my role at Acertara is shipping and receiving. I perform an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming/outgoing materials for all shipping by verifying the contents, packing, and shipping orders, arranging transportation of materials, and collaborating with inventory and purchasing.
If you could pick one theme for Acertara to turn into a book about the company, what would it be?
I would pick the theme of diligence for Acertara; they are dedicated to developing advancements in the testing and maintaining of ultrasound probes, their employees, and customers.
What do you like most about Acertara?
I like my co-workers the most. They’ve all been extremely nice and helpful since I’ve started. They are willing to spend time on training, answering any questions I have, and working as a team. Thanks, everyone!
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
I would choose either Ernest Borgnine or Jim Varney to be cast as me because they are both dashing young men like me!
If you could drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I would drink Newcastle beer for the rest of my life because it’s a good amber beer and tastes amazing.
Top three life highlights?
My top three life highlights are my wife, kids, and grandchildren!
