Employee Spotlight: Cris
Hello, I’m Cris. I grew up in Longmont and went to college at Regis University where I studied Mathematics and Computational Physics. I’m a data scientist here at Acertara. That mainly consists of manipulating Acertara Equipment Management portal, ATLAS probe tester, and different data sources to create tools and answer questions to drive business development and decisions. I also joined the CO National Guard last year.
If you could switch roles with anyone else at Acertara, whose role would you want? Why?
I thoroughly enjoy numbers and have always been curious about accounting, so switching places with Audra sounds like a fun experience.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I hike, camp, try new restaurants, and go to the climbing gym quite often. I play some pickleball and volleyball here and there. I’m currently training for my first marathon so that has been taking up most of my time.
What is your hidden talent?
I played trombone for 12 years and have been paid for it. Depending on your definition, I could be considered a professional musician
Top three life highlights?
- Biking across some islands in Southern Japan connected by giant bridges.
- Hiking Longs Peak, it’s the best view I’ve seen in Colorado.
- Meeting my nephew and niece.
