Employee Spotlight: Brittany
My name is Brittany, I grew up in Durango, Co but have lived in beautiful Longmont, CO for the past 23 years. I have two amazing daughters (Twins!) and I enjoy spending as much time as possible with them. I have a couple of roles here at Acertara: I am the Receptionist and Sales Assistant. I greet visitors and answer the phones as well as assist the Sales Team by supporting them on a daily basis (including any projects they need completed).
What do you like most about Acertara?
What I like most about Acertara is the people, community and Acertara’s drive for continuing research, technological advances, and safety in probe repairs and ultrasound testing equipment.
If you could switch roles with anyone else at Acertara, whose role would you want? Why?
If I could switch roles with anyone else at Acertara it would be the Engineers. I find it fascinating being able to design and create things from the ground up.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I enjoy exploring and learning about the history and culture of anywhere I travel. I also like being outside when the weather is nice and warm, camping, gardening, hiking, and biking.
What is the one thing you couldn’t live without?
My Daughters.
Where would you like to travel to?
The first places on my bucket list are to travel to Ireland and Scottland. I have always wanted to explore the culture, history, and their beautiful landscapes. After Ireland and Scottland, Greece would be my next stop!
