LONGMONT, CO December 7, 2020   Acertara Acoustic Laboratories, an ISO17025:2017 accredited and ISO13485:2003 certified ultrasound facility announces that its CEO, Wayne Moore, MBA, FASE has recently been elected by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) as a Fellow.  Fewer than 3 percent of AIUM members – a multidisciplinary profession association of approximately 9,000 physicians, sonographers, scientists, and other health providers – have been named AIUM Fellows.

“I am both honored and humbled to be recognized by the AIUM and look forward to continued contribution towards the safe, cost-effective use of ultrasound in novel areas,” commented Moore. 

Wayne is a 40-year veteran of the diagnostic ultrasound market.  He has been directly involved in the development, regulatory clearance, and commercialization of more than 20 technology intensive ultrasound systems.  Mr. Moore is widely published in the diagnostic ultrasound and technical literature and a sought-after speaker at medical imaging and technical conferences.  In 2009, Wayne was elected as a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE).

The mission of the AIUM is to provide education, foster best practices and facilitate research that keep its members up to date thereby utilizing ultrasound in safe effective and affordable applications for improved patient care on a worldwide basis.
