Employee Spotlight: Anna
Tell us a little about yourself and your role at Acertara.
I am the Technical Sales Specialist at Acertara. I am part of the Sales team but also work closely with our 17025:2017 accredited acoustic power intensity lab, manufacturing, and engineering teams. I help OEMs, startups, and research institutions with acoustic testing services and equipment. Everyday there is something new, so it keeps me on my toes! I recently moved here from Vermont, so outside of work, I’ve enjoyed exploring the outdoors and getting to know my new home. I spend my weekends hiking, running, skiing, and trying new local beer!
What do you like most about Acertara?
I love having the opportunity to collaborate with different teams internally. Everyone is very approachable, and this has allowed me to learn so much more!
If you could switch roles with anyone else at Acertara, whose role would you want? Why?
Definitely Wayne. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him walk into the building without a smile on his face and something clever to say. It’s so evident he LOVES what he is doing, and I’d like to be an expert in my field like him someday.
What is your favorite movie and/or book?
Favorite movie: Good Will Hunting
Favorite book: The DaVinci Code
Where would you like to travel to?
Everywhere! But my top three would be New Zealand, Switzerland, and Japan.
If you could drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I would have to go with a Pilsner Urquell on draft in a nice liter mug.
