Wishing You the Very Best Christmas

I think everyone can agree that 2023 was filled with significant stress. At least two wars are raging on as I write this, as well as significant problems in our homeland. As the days of this year wind down our thoughts sometimes turn to the crazy time of buying gifts and all the stress that comes with this. For me Christmas is a time to reflect on all the blessings that have come my way during the year and take a much needed break from listening to the relentless bad news of the world’s folly. Christmas is a time to think about the baby in the manger who came to take away the sins of the world and make things right again between God and His creation.
I am also reminded that no matter how crazy and seemingly out of control things appear in the world, God is still in control – and ultimately everything works according to His purpose and design. With that in mind it is my prayer that this missive will encourage the reader to spend some valuable time thinking about, and writing down, all of the blessings you too have been given, starting with family and friends. Take time to revel in His peace, a peace which passes all understanding. Reflect on what a better 2024 will look like and resolve to become a preferrable version of yourself in the New Year. And always remember that the giving of yourself is much better than the giving of gifts. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Until 2024,
Wayne
