Employee Spotlight: Trevor
Tell us a little about yourself and your role at Acertara?
I’m originally from the Northeast and have lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont. I’ve been in Colorado for a little over two years now. When I’m not at work, I’m usually outside skiing or biking. At Acertara, I work as a design engineer, focusing on establishing new repair techniques and improving our current processes.
What do you like most about Acertara?
In my current position, I’ve found that the projects I’ve worked on so far have allowed me to apply my previous experience in new and exciting ways. Additionally, the people here are great to work with.
What do you find most challenging at Acertara?
In my last position, I spent most of my time working with CT scans and imaging artifacts in those scans. Because of this, the switch from thinking in terms of radiation-based imaging to sound-based scanning has been the most challenging part of my transition.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
Biking, snowboarding/splitboarding, trail running, and music. I am always looking for touring partners, so if you’ve got a backcountry setup, feel free to reach out!
Where would you like to travel to?
The list is long, but I’ve been wanting to do one of the Alta Vias for a while now, so let’s go with the Dolomites.
If you could drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Bottled Miller High Life
